Job Summary:
The Industrial Engineer will be responsible for analyzing and improving operational processes, designing efficient workflows, and implementing strategies to enhance productivity, quality, and safety. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial engineering principles, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Process Improvement: Analyze existing processes and workflows to identify areas for improvement. Develop and implement strategies to optimize efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance product quality.
Workflow Design: Design and implement efficient workflows, layouts, and systems for manufacturing and production processes. Utilize tools such as CAD software, simulation modeling, and process mapping.
Data Analysis: Collect and analyze data related to production processes, equipment performance, and labor utilization. Use statistical analysis and lean manufacturing principles to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Cost Reduction: Identify opportunities to reduce costs through process optimization, resource allocation, and waste reduction. Develop cost-benefit analyses for proposed changes and present recommendations to management.
Quality Assurance: Collaborate with quality assurance teams to ensure that processes meet quality standards and regulatory requirements. Implement quality control measures and monitor their effectiveness.
Safety Compliance: Ensure that all processes and workflows comply with safety regulations and company policies. Identify potential safety hazards and implement corrective actions to mitigate risks.
Project Management: Lead and manage engineering projects from conception to completion. Develop project plans, set timelines, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution.
Training and Support: Provide training and support to production staff on new processes, equipment, and systems. Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) and ensure that they are followed consistently.
Continuous Improvement: Promote a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging feedback, innovation, and the adoption of best practices. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in industrial engineering.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.

Strong knowledge of industrial engineering principles, lean manufacturing, and Six Sigma methodologies.
Proficiency in CAD software, simulation modeling, and data analysis tools.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Knowledge of safety regulations and quality standards relevant to the industry.
Preferred Qualifications:
Professional Engineer (PE) license or certification in Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt or Black Belt).
Experience with ERP systems and manufacturing execution systems (MES).
Familiarity with automation and robotics in manufacturing processes.
