Job Summary:
As a Travel Agent, you will be responsible for assisting clients in planning and booking their travel arrangements, including flights, accommodations, transportation, tours, and activities. You will provide expert advice, recommend destinations, and ensure that all travel plans meet the clients’ needs and preferences. The ideal candidate is a customer-focused individual with excellent communication skills, a passion for travel, and a strong knowledge of the travel industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Consult with clients to understand their travel preferences, budget, and requirements.

Research and recommend destinations, itineraries, and travel packages tailored to clients’ needs.

Book and coordinate travel arrangements, including flights, hotels, car rentals, cruises, and tours.

Provide information on visa requirements, travel insurance, and health advisories.

Stay up-to-date on travel industry trends, destination information, and promotional offers.

Handle travel-related issues, such as cancellations, rescheduling, and emergencies.

Build and maintain relationships with clients to encourage repeat business and referrals.

Collaborate with travel suppliers, such as airlines, hotels, and tour operators, to secure the best deals for clients.

Process payments and maintain accurate records of bookings and transactions.

Ensure compliance with travel regulations and company policies.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Travel Agent or in a similar role.

Strong knowledge of travel booking systems (e.g., Amadeus, Sabre, or Galileo) and online travel platforms.

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.

Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

Passion for travel and a deep understanding of global destinations, cultures, and trends.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and travel-related software.

Certification in travel and tourism (e.g., CTA, CTC) is a plus.
