Job Summary:
The Facility Manager will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance, safety, and efficiency of SkyForge Aerospace’s facilities. This role requires a proactive individual with strong organizational and leadership skills to manage day-to-day operations, ensure compliance with industry standards, and support the company’s mission of innovation and excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Facility Operations Management:

Oversee the daily operations of the facility, including maintenance, repairs, and upgrades.

Ensure all building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, etc.) are functioning optimally.

Manage facility budgets, contracts, and vendor relationships.

Health and Safety Compliance:

Implement and enforce safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.

Conduct regular inspections and risk assessments to maintain compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.

Coordinate emergency preparedness and response plans.

Space Planning and Optimization:

Plan and oversee space allocation, layouts, and facility expansions to support company growth.

Ensure efficient utilization of space and resources.

Sustainability Initiatives:

Develop and implement strategies to improve energy efficiency and reduce the facility’s environmental footprint.

Monitor and report on sustainability metrics.

Team Leadership:

Supervise and mentor facility staff, including maintenance personnel and contractors.

Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Project Management:

Lead facility-related projects, including renovations, relocations, and new construction.

Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Facility Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in facility management, preferably in a manufacturing or aerospace environment.

Strong knowledge of building systems, maintenance practices, and safety regulations.

Excellent project management and problem-solving skills.

Proficiency in facility management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Certification in Facility Management (CFM) or equivalent is a plus.
