Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Plant Supervisor to oversee daily operations at our Coimbatore manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in aerospace manufacturing, exceptional leadership skills, and a passion for ensuring operational efficiency and quality. The Plant Supervisor will be responsible for managing production processes, supervising staff, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Production Oversight:

Supervise and coordinate daily manufacturing operations to meet production targets.

Monitor production processes to ensure efficiency, quality, and adherence to timelines.

Team Management:

Lead, train, and mentor a team of production staff.

Foster a positive and productive work environment.

Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members.

Quality Assurance:

Ensure all products meet AetherNova’s quality standards and regulatory requirements.

Implement and maintain quality control procedures.

Safety Compliance:

Enforce strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Conduct regular safety audits and training sessions.

Resource Management:

Manage inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods.

Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams to ensure timely availability of resources.

Reporting:

Prepare and submit regular reports on production metrics, quality, and safety.

Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.

Continuous Improvement:

Drive initiatives to optimize production processes and reduce costs.

Stay updated on industry trends and best practices.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing environment, preferably in aerospace or a related industry.

Strong knowledge of production processes, quality control, and safety standards.

Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Proficiency in using manufacturing software and tools.

Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
