Job Description:
As a Tour Guide at AquaVista Travels, you will be responsible for leading and managing groups of travelers, providing them with insightful information, and ensuring a smooth and enjoyable travel experience. You will act as the face of the company, representing our values and commitment to excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Tour Leadership:

Lead and manage groups of travelers on local, national, and international tours.

Provide engaging and accurate information about historical, cultural, and natural landmarks.

Ensure the safety and well-being of all participants throughout the tour.

Customer Service:

Address client inquiries and resolve any issues promptly and professionally.

Foster a positive and enjoyable atmosphere for travelers.

Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction through personalized service.

Logistics Coordination:

Collaborate with the operations team to ensure smooth execution of itineraries.

Manage schedules, transportation, and accommodation arrangements during tours.

Handle emergencies or unexpected changes with efficiency and composure.

Cultural Expertise:

Stay updated on local history, culture, and attractions to provide accurate and engaging commentary.

Share interesting anecdotes and stories to enhance the travel experience.

Promotion of Services:

Promote AquaVista Travels’ services and packages to potential clients.

Encourage repeat business and referrals through exceptional service delivery.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Tour Guide or in a similar role.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong knowledge of local and international tourist destinations.

Ability to handle emergencies and resolve conflicts effectively.

Fluency in English and Tamil (additional languages are a plus).

Certification in Travel and Tourism or a related field is preferred.

First Aid and CPR certification is an advantage.

Skills and Attributes:

Passion for travel and tourism.

Friendly, approachable, and outgoing personality.

Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Physical fitness to handle long hours of walking and standing.
