Job Description:
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Tax Consultant to manage and oversee all aspects of our tax-related activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tax planning, compliance, and advisory services, with the ability to navigate complex tax laws and regulations. This role requires a proactive individual who can provide strategic tax guidance to support AetherNova Aerospace’s financial goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and file accurate and timely tax returns, including income tax, GST, and other relevant taxes.

Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal tax regulations.

Conduct thorough research on tax laws and regulations to identify opportunities for tax savings and risk mitigation.

Provide expert advice on tax implications for business decisions, mergers, acquisitions, and other financial transactions.

Collaborate with internal teams to streamline tax processes and improve efficiency.

Represent the company during tax audits and liaise with tax authorities as needed.

Stay updated on changes in tax legislation and advise management on potential impacts.

Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports related to tax matters.

Develop and implement tax strategies to minimize liabilities and maximize compliance.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., CA, CPA, ACCA) is preferred.

Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in tax consulting, preferably in the aerospace or manufacturing industry.

In-depth knowledge of Indian tax laws, including GST, income tax, and international tax regulations.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex tax concepts to non-experts.

Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
