Job Description:
As a Technical Support Engineer at FrostByte Gaming, you will be the first point of contact for our customers and internal teams, providing technical assistance and resolving issues related to our gaming products and services. You will play a critical role in ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining the high performance of our gaming systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide technical support to customers and internal teams via email, chat, and phone.

Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network-related issues for gaming systems.

Diagnose and escalate complex technical issues to the appropriate teams.

Document and track customer issues using our support ticketing system.

Collaborate with the development team to identify and resolve recurring technical problems.

Assist in the testing and quality assurance of new gaming products and updates.

Create and maintain technical documentation, FAQs, and knowledge base articles.

Provide training and support to customers on the use of FrostByte Gaming products.

Stay up-to-date with the latest gaming technologies and industry trends.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

1-3 years of experience in technical support or a similar role.

Strong knowledge of gaming hardware, software, and networking.

Proficiency in troubleshooting Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems.

Familiarity with gaming consoles, peripherals, and online gaming platforms.

Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Passion for gaming and a deep understanding of the gaming community.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with customer support tools like Zendesk, Freshdesk, or similar.

Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) is a plus.

Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) are advantageous.
