Job Description:
As an IT Support Specialist at TechNova Solutions, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our IT systems and providing technical assistance to our employees and clients. You will be responsible for troubleshooting hardware and software issues, maintaining IT infrastructure, and delivering top-notch customer service. The ideal candidate is a problem-solver with strong technical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for technology.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide technical support to end-users via phone, email, or in-person, resolving hardware, software, and network issues promptly and effectively.

Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, applications, and peripherals.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to operating systems, software applications, and network connectivity.

Perform routine maintenance and updates on IT systems to ensure optimal performance and security.

Assist in the setup and configuration of new hardware and software for employees.

Monitor and manage IT inventory, including hardware, software, and licenses.

Collaborate with the IT team to implement and improve IT policies, procedures, and systems.

Document technical issues, solutions, and processes for future reference.

Provide training and guidance to employees on the use of IT systems and tools.

Ensure compliance with company IT security policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Proven experience as an IT Support Specialist or in a similar role.

Strong knowledge of Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems.

Familiarity with networking concepts, protocols, and troubleshooting.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, Active Directory, and remote desktop tools.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP), or Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) are a plus.
