Job Description:
We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Demand Planner to join our dynamic team at SolarBloom Energy. The Demand Planner will play a critical role in forecasting customer demand, optimizing inventory levels, and ensuring the seamless flow of products to meet business objectives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supply chain management, exceptional analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate across departments.

Key Responsibilities:

Demand Forecasting:

Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts using historical data, market trends, and input from sales, marketing, and product teams.

Monitor and analyze forecast accuracy, identifying and addressing variances.

Inventory Management:

Collaborate with supply chain and procurement teams to optimize inventory levels and minimize excess or obsolete stock.

Ensure alignment between demand forecasts and inventory plans to meet customer needs.

Data Analysis:

Utilize advanced analytics tools to interpret data and generate actionable insights.

Prepare and present reports on demand planning metrics, including forecast accuracy, inventory turnover, and service levels.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Work closely with sales, marketing, operations, and finance teams to align demand plans with business goals.

Participate in S&OP (Sales and Operations Planning) meetings to ensure alignment across departments.

Process Improvement:

Identify opportunities to enhance demand planning processes and implement best practices.

Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Finance, or a related field.

3+ years of experience in demand planning, supply chain, or a similar role.

Proficiency in demand planning software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar) and advanced Excel skills.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
