Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Field Technician to oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of solar energy systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for renewable energy.

Key Responsibilities:

Install, inspect, maintain, and repair solar photovoltaic (PV) systems at residential, commercial, and industrial sites.

Conduct site assessments to determine optimal placement for solar panels and equipment.

Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to solar energy systems.

Ensure all installations comply with safety standards, local regulations, and company guidelines.

Collaborate with the engineering and project management teams to ensure timely and efficient project completion.

Provide training and support to customers on the operation and maintenance of solar systems.

Maintain accurate records of work performed, including installation reports, maintenance logs, and inventory.

Travel to various job sites as required, ensuring timely and professional service delivery.

Qualifications:

Diploma or ITI certification in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.

Minimum of 2 years of experience in solar PV system installation, maintenance, or a similar role.

Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and solar energy components.

Proficiency in using hand and power tools, as well as diagnostic equipment.

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Willingness to work outdoors and in various weather conditions.

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Preferred Skills:

Certification in solar PV installation or maintenance (e.g., NABCEP).

Experience working with inverters, batteries, and other solar energy system components.

Knowledge of local electrical codes and regulations.
