Job Description:
As a NOC Engineer at SolarBloom Energy, you will play a critical role in ensuring the stability, performance, and security of our network infrastructure. You will be responsible for monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintaining our network systems to ensure seamless operations and minimal downtime. This position requires a proactive individual with strong technical expertise, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor and manage the company’s network infrastructure, including servers, routers, switches, and other network devices.

Identify, diagnose, and resolve network issues in a timely manner to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance.

Perform routine network maintenance, including updates, patches, and configuration changes.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and optimize network solutions.

Maintain detailed documentation of network configurations, incidents, and resolutions.

Respond to network alerts and incidents, escalating issues as necessary to ensure swift resolution.

Conduct regular network performance analysis and generate reports for management.

Implement and enforce network security measures to protect against potential threats.

Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to recommend improvements to the network infrastructure.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Proven experience as a NOC Engineer or in a similar role.

Strong knowledge of networking protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN.

Hands-on experience with network monitoring tools (e.g., Nagios, SolarWinds, PRTG).

Familiarity with network hardware, including Cisco, Juniper, or similar devices.

Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work in a 24/7 shift environment, including nights and weekends.

Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent are a plus.
