Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Procurement Specialist to join our team at SolarBloom Energy. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the procurement process, ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services, and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers. This role requires excellent negotiation skills, a strong understanding of supply chain management, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize costs and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.

Source, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, price, and delivery timelines.

Negotiate contracts, terms, and conditions with suppliers to secure favorable agreements.

Monitor and manage supplier performance to ensure compliance with contractual obligations.

Collaborate with internal departments to understand procurement needs and requirements.

Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, including purchase orders, invoices, and contracts.

Identify and mitigate risks in the supply chain to ensure continuity of operations.

Stay updated on market trends, industry developments, and new technologies to inform procurement decisions.

Ensure compliance with company policies, legal regulations, and ethical standards.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management, preferably in the renewable energy sector.

Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Proficiency in procurement software and tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar).

Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Knowledge of sustainable procurement practices is a plus.
