Job Summary:
The Warehouse Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the warehouse, ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of solar energy products. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in warehouse management, inventory control, and team leadership. This role requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to optimize warehouse processes to meet company goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Warehouse Operations Management:

Oversee the receipt, storage, and dispatch of solar energy products and materials.

Ensure accurate inventory management and maintain optimal stock levels.

Implement and monitor efficient warehouse layout and organization.

Team Leadership:

Supervise, train, and motivate warehouse staff to achieve performance targets.

Foster a safe, productive, and positive work environment.

Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to team members.

Inventory Control:

Maintain accurate records of inventory using warehouse management systems (WMS).

Conduct regular stock audits and reconcile discrepancies.

Coordinate with procurement and sales teams to ensure timely replenishment of stock.

Health and Safety Compliance:

Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments.

Implement corrective actions to address safety concerns.

Process Improvement:

Identify opportunities to improve warehouse efficiency and reduce costs.

Implement best practices for inventory management and order fulfillment.

Utilize technology and automation to streamline warehouse operations.

Reporting and Documentation:

Prepare and submit regular reports on warehouse performance, inventory levels, and operational issues.

Maintain accurate documentation for all warehouse activities.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in warehouse management, preferably in the renewable energy or manufacturing sector.

Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control practices.

Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Certification in logistics or supply chain management is a plus.
