Job Description:
As a Development Officer at PineHaven Retreats, you will play a pivotal role in driving the strategic growth and development of our retreats. You will be responsible for identifying new opportunities, building partnerships, and implementing initiatives that enhance our offerings and expand our reach. This role requires a blend of creativity, strategic thinking, and strong project management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning:

Develop and implement strategies to grow PineHaven Retreats’ presence and revenue.

Identify new markets, partnerships, and business opportunities.

Partnership Development:

Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including corporate clients, travel agencies, and wellness partners.

Negotiate and finalize agreements with partners to drive mutual growth.

Project Management:

Lead the planning and execution of new development projects, including retreat expansions, new facilities, and service enhancements.

Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

Market Research:

Conduct market research to identify trends, customer preferences, and competitive opportunities.

Use insights to inform decision-making and strategy development.

Collaboration:

Work closely with the marketing, operations, and finance teams to align development initiatives with company goals.

Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on progress and outcomes.

Sustainability Initiatives:

Champion eco-friendly and sustainable development practices in line with PineHaven Retreats’ values.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).

Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, project management, or a similar role, preferably in the hospitality or wellness industry.

Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering projects.

Ability to think strategically and execute tactically.

Passion for wellness, sustainability, and hospitality.
