Job Description:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our dynamic team at CrimsonPaw Pet Care. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and optimizing the supply chain and logistics operations to ensure the timely delivery of pet care products and services. This role requires excellent communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a passion for delivering exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities:

Coordination & Planning:

Plan and coordinate the transportation, storage, and distribution of pet care products.

Ensure timely delivery of goods to retail locations, customers, and partners.

Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers to maintain optimal stock levels.

Vendor & Carrier Management:

Liaise with suppliers, carriers, and third-party logistics providers to ensure smooth operations.

Negotiate contracts and rates with transportation and logistics vendors.

Resolve any issues related to shipping, delays, or damaged goods.

Documentation & Compliance:

Prepare and maintain accurate logistics documentation, including shipping manifests, invoices, and delivery records.

Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to transportation and logistics.

Customer Service:

Act as a point of contact for logistics-related inquiries from internal teams and customers.

Address and resolve any delivery or service issues promptly and professionally.

Process Improvement:

Identify inefficiencies in the logistics process and propose solutions to improve operations.

Implement best practices to enhance cost-effectiveness and service quality.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.

Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or a similar role.

Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Knowledge of pet care products or the pet industry is a plus.
