Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Production Manager to oversee and optimize our production processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in agricultural production, supply chain management, and team leadership. The Production Manager will be responsible for ensuring that our operations run smoothly, efficiently, and in alignment with our commitment to sustainability and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

Production Planning & Management:

Oversee the entire production process, from planting to harvesting and packaging.

Develop and implement production schedules to meet demand while maintaining quality standards.

Monitor and optimize resource utilization, including labor, equipment, and materials.

Quality Assurance:

Ensure all products meet organic certification standards and company quality guidelines.

Implement and maintain quality control procedures throughout the production cycle.

Address and resolve any issues related to product quality or production delays.

Team Leadership:

Supervise and lead a team of production staff, providing guidance, training, and support.

Foster a positive and productive work environment that aligns with GreenHarvest Organics' values.

Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members.

Sustainability & Compliance:

Ensure all production practices adhere to organic farming standards and environmental regulations.

Identify and implement sustainable practices to reduce waste and improve efficiency.

Maintain accurate records and documentation for compliance and certification purposes.

Inventory & Supply Chain Management:

Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.

Manage inventory levels to avoid shortages or overstocking.

Collaborate with the sales and distribution teams to ensure timely delivery of products to customers.

Continuous Improvement:

Analyze production data to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.

Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in organic farming and production technologies.

Recommend and implement innovative practices to enhance productivity and sustainability.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Agribusiness, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in production management, preferably in the organic farming or agriculture sector.

Strong knowledge of organic farming practices and certification standards.

Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Proficiency in using production management software and tools.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.

Passion for sustainability and environmental conservation.
