Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Microbiologist to join our research and development team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in microbiology, with a focus on soil, plant, and food microbiology. You will play a key role in developing and optimizing microbial solutions to enhance organic farming practices, improve crop yields, and ensure food safety.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct research on beneficial microorganisms for soil health and plant growth.
Isolate, identify, and characterize microbial strains for agricultural applications.
Develop and test microbial-based products, such as biofertilizers and biopesticides.
Monitor and analyze microbial activity in soil, plants, and organic products.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate microbial solutions into farming practices.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations for organic certification.
Maintain accurate records of experiments, data, and findings.
Stay updated on the latest advancements in microbiology and sustainable agriculture.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Microbiology, Biotechnology, or a related field.
Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in microbiology, preferably in agriculture or food science.
Strong knowledge of microbial culturing, identification, and characterization techniques.
Experience with molecular biology tools (e.g., PCR, DNA sequencing) is a plus.
Familiarity with organic farming practices and sustainability principles.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
